My colleagues Andrew Patner and Matt DeStefano arrive in Hong Kong today as they accompany the CSO on their far east tour. I was in Hong Kong for a few amazing days in 2005 – it was one of the great experiences of my lifetime! Reflecting back on old photos and videos, I thought I’d share a few with you now…

Here’s one of the best known sights from modern Hong Kong. The famed Kai Tak airport was recently replaced by modern Chek Lap Kok…but these harrowing landings will always remain a fixture in Hong Kong memory. The closest thing in Chicago is probably the White Castle parking lot at 61st and Cicero….but not quite!
