PianoForte Salon Series Live presents emerging and established artists in an intimate recital setting. The artists and audience enjoy concerts on the magnificent sounding Fazioli piano, crafted from lumber grown in the Val di Fiemme in the Italian Alps – the same red spruce forest used by famed Italian violin maker Antonio Stradivari in the 18th century. Founded in 1981 by Paolo Fazioli, the factory is located 35 miles northeast of Venice, Italy.

PianoForte Chicago presents these concerts in their state-of-the-art facility, PianoForte Studios at 1335 South Michigan Avenue. WFMT’s Dave Schwan hosts this broadcast, and the series is produced by the Pianoforte Foundation, and Mary Mazurek serves as the Technical Producer. The concerts are free and open to the public.
