Music in Chicago, Friday at 8:30 pm

Friday on WFMT’s Music in Chicago, Candice Agree hosts a recital featuring lyric soprano and Decca recording artist Nicole Cabell.

Though her work takes her around the globe, Nicole Cabell manages to return to Chicago between engagements. She has called Chicago home since her days as an apprentice at the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists, now called the Ryan Opera Center.

Nicole Cabell is currently singing Violetta in San Francisco Opera’s La traviata. In November she will sing Mimì in the Paris Opera production of La bohème.

Nicole Cabell performed this recital in the fall of 2013 on the campus of Northeastern Illinois University. She also gave master classes to students at NEIU.
