Two of Chicago’s winning teams came together at Symphony Center: Maestro Muti donned a personalized #19 jersey, and led the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for an enthusiastic “Chelsea Dagger,” the United Center’s fight song played for every Blackhawks goal.

Maestro Muti concluded the Chicago Symphony season at Symphony Center on Sunday with Four Sacred Pieces by Verdi; Maestro gave an impromptu speech from the stage saying the first thing he would do when his plane lands in Rome is find out “if the Hawks won.” And they did; rocketing ahead of the Boston Bruins on Monday night with only seconds remaining for a 3-2 finish and their 4th Stanley Cup.
