More on Jake Heggie

That’s how New York Times critic Steve Smith described the premier of composer Jake Heggie’s latest triumph Moby-Dick.

This week, Jake Heggie brings a new edition of his chamber opera, Three Decembers, to the Harris Theater in a production by Chicago Opera Theater. The luminous Frederica von Stade headlines the production in the role created for her.
