Korngold: Violin Concerto in D major, Op 35 (24:15)

Glenn Dicterow, violin; New York Philharmonic / David Robertson

The New York Philharmonic salutes concertmaster Glenn Dicterow — who is leaving the Orchestra after 34 years, the longest tenure of any concertmaster in Philharmonic history — with “The Glenn Dicterow Collection.” The three albums feature his favorite solo performances from 1982 to 2012. The first album is available on CD, which comes with a 90-page commemorative booklet. It and two other albums are also available as downloads on iTunes and Amazon.
