Copland: Two Pieces for String Quartet (8:19)

      Lark Quartet

The Lark Quartet continues to delight audiences with its energy, passionate commitment and artistry since its inception in 1985. The music on the quartet’s new album presents the listener with a distinct experience and transformation of the American vernacular. The program includes works by John Adams, William Bolcom and Aaron Copland, and concludes with Paul Moravec’s Piano Quintet, composed in 2008 for the Lark Quartet and pianist Jeremy Denk.
