      Portland, Oregon’s largest performing arts group was founded in 1896. It is the oldest American orchestra west of the Mississippi. Carlos Kalmar is now in his tenth season as music director of the Oregon Symphony. They present a program of works by Elgar, Vaughan Williams and Britten, recorded in concert in 2012.
