On July 19th, Chicago’s iO Theater (formerly the “ImprovOlympic”) will be close the doors to its Wrigleyville home after nearly 20 years at 3541 N. Clark St. The grand opening at iO Theater’s new location in Lincoln Park’s Clybourn Corridor is slated for late August. The new space is comprised of four theaters, three bars, an expanded training center, and an events space. What is behind the move? WFMT’s Sarah Zwinklis has the story.
