Rhythm World is America’s longest-running and most comprehensive festival of American tap and contemporary percussive arts. The festival, founded in Chicago and hosted by Chicago Human Rhythm Project, runs through August 3, and includes concerts, student showcases, masterclasses, workshops, courses, and residencies with world-renowned teachers and performers.

On July 19th, Chicago’s iO Theater (formerly the “ImprovOlympic”) will be close the doors to its Wrigleyville home after nearly 20 years at 3541 N. Clark St. The grand opening at iO Theater’s new location in Lincoln Park’s Clybourn Corridor is slated for late August.
