Wish I had Mr. Patner’s WFMT extension # to leave an enthused voicemail instead of a written comment. His show tonight showcasing “Black Sabbath” was delightful. The music, the liner notes quoted, as well as Mr. Patner’s own fun commentary were just delicious. Informative, fun, just a fine show. From the first strains of Billie Holiday through Cab Calloway to Johnny Hartman and the glorious Earth Kitt, and the rest, just great. “Yashir Ko’ach”, sir.

    Andrew,

Can you please tell me the name of the piece sung by Alberta Hunter that you played on your program last night, and which CD it’s on? I was unable to catch the details; thank you!
