"It is the only interview that I know of done with Studs where he discusses in detail his passion for opera and opera singers including Rosa Raisa, Lotte Lehmann, and "his" diva, Claudia Muzio. Studs also talks about his disc jockey days in general and the music editions of The Studs Terkel Program on WFMT. Yes, it is a big loss to have the library services diminished. But it is also a huge loss to have some of the mental health facilities closed, the arts & culture programming at the Cultural Center and around the city curtailed, and many other services eliminated. I haven’t heard you speak of some of the other cut backs. What seems important is that the burden is shared as equally as possible. Could you comment on this?
I did discuss these other cuts the week before. No disagreement from me, Susan!
